The nature of residential care means that it can be a difficult decision to decide that full-time, live-in care is in the best interests and safety for loved ones, and that is why we are honoured when a resident is placed at Northway House. We take our role and responsibility seriously and with genuine care and compassion.

Northway House is a large residential house adapted for the care of the elderly. We aim to provide a warm, secure and safe environment and all the necessary personal care and attention for those who wish to spend their retirement in such an atmosphere. Our luxury 29 bedrooms all provide en-suite facilities with call systems and T.V points. There is a five person lift to provide easy access to the bedrooms upstairs.
A key worker will be assigned to each permanent resident and will be responsible for the overall care of that resident, as well as keeping an up to date inventory of personal belongings, keeping the drawers and wardrobe clean and tidy and making sure clothes are always clean, in good repair and labelled.
Home cooked and nutritional meals are varied and favourite dishes and special diets can be catered for. Tea and coffee are available 24 hours a day for residents and visitors alike.
The home has its own transport which can provide trips out and the home does organise its own events with the help of an activities co-ordinator. Friends and relatives are welcomed at any time of the day.
